<Stew seasoning> Bamboo shoot rice

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 250g boiled bamboo shoots
  • 100g minced chicken
  • 1 piece of fried tofu
  • 3 cups rice
  • 150ml dashi stock
  • A little leaf buds
  • A little salt and sake
  • Simmered food seasoning 60ml

How to make it

STEP 1 Wash the rice, drain it in a colander and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

STEP 2 Cut the bamboo shoots into thin slices and drain the oil from the fried tofu and cut it into thin strips.

STEP 3 Bring the stock and simmering seasoning to a boil, then add ② and the minced chicken and simmer until the flavors are absorbed.

STEP 4: Put the broth from step ③ into a cup, add water to make it 150ml, and put it in the pot with the rice, add a little sake and salt, and cook.

STEP 5 Once the rice is cooked, mix the ingredients from step 3 together, place in a bowl, and garnish with kinome leaves.
