<Simmered food seasoning> Squid covered in sauce

  • Frozen squid rings 1kg
  • Simmered food seasoning 250ml
  • 250ml water
  • 30g potato starch
  • 30g water
    (Stew seasoning: water = 1:1)

How to make it

STEP 1 Thaw the frozen squid and boil briefly in almost boiling water.

STEP2Put the simmering seasonings and water in a pot and heat it. When it starts to boil, add the water-dissolved potato starch to thicken it. ( Stir quickly to avoid lumps.)

STEP 3: Put ① and ②, which have been thoroughly drained, into a bowl, mix, and leave for about 30 minutes.
(Adjust the amount of sauce while watching the dish.)
Once the flavor has soaked into the squid, it's done.
If you have any sauce left over, you can use it as a sauce for fried foods.
