<Stew seasoning> Kinpira burdock

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • Burdock... 300g
  • Lotus root ...50g
  • Sesame oil……  1 teaspoon (4 g)
  • Carrots...160g
  • Thread konjac…… 15 0g
  • Chili pepper...a little

【 seasoning 】

  • Soy sauce…20ml
  • Mirin ...20ml
  • Sugar…… 20g
  • Sake...20ml

→You can get all four seasonings in one bottle!
Fundodai simmered seasoning: 80ml

How to make it

STEP 1 Cut the burdock and carrot into thick matchsticks (approximately 2mm squares) and the lotus root into half-moon shapes. Soak the burdock and lotus root in water.

STEP 2 Cut the konnyaku noodles into 5cm pieces and boil them in hot water.

STEP3Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and fry ① and ②. Add the seasonings and stir fry, stirring occasionally, until the liquid has evaporated. (When frying, if the ingredients are cooked through, you can mix them together straight without adding water.)

STEP 4 Sprinkle with chili pepper and it's done.
